Forest Lake School District 831 serves Forest Lake, Wyoming, Columbus and Linwood Townships, and part of New Scandia and Wyoming Townships. Public schools located in Forest Lake include a high school; two junior high schools; four elementary schools, one of which is Montessori; an area learning center and North Lakes Academy, a public charter middle school. St. Peter Elementary School is private. Lakes International Language Academy, a Spanish immersion charter school for grades K-6.
